Randall "Bub" Kise

Randall (Bub) Kise, 67 of Jodie WV, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Bub is preceded in death by his father Howard T. Kise, his two siblings Tommy and Victoria: grandson Walker, mother-in-law Marjorie Coleman, and his beloved dog Cocoa.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Kise, daughters Holli (Michael) Samples, Lindsay (Nathan) Pritt, Sarah (Adam) Dorsey; and his greatest gifts his eight grandchildren Luke, Logan, Briar, Austin, Layla, Macy, Lainey, and Harper; mother Betty Vesta Kise, and his siblings Frank, Lori, Jerry (Diane), Jeff Kise of Jodie; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He was a retired operator and member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a man who loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding up the holler. Nothing meant more to him than time with his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy. He shared 41 years of marriage with his wife and was a loving and proud father to his three daughters. Bub will be remembered for his love of family and the life he built with the people he loved.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the SICU nurses at CAMC Memorial Hospital for the care and kindness shown to him and to our family.

Services will be held at Pennington’s Funeral home located in Gauley Bridge WV, February 19, 2026. Visitation from 12:00-2:00pm, followed by funeral service at 2:00pm with long time friend Richard Harold and son-in-law Adam Dorsey officiating.
